The sport events and activities include the inter-collegiate and in-house tournaments in Football, Bowling, and Table Tennis. All the tournaments are held as per the plan. The successful individuals and teams are endowed with dissimilar prizes from the college.

1st BACU College Seminars in Computer Science Department for level 3
• Subject and topic selection
• Individually topic assignment to all level 3 students
• Evaluation criteria decide and make a sheet for all students
• Ask students to make effective PowerPoint slide of content for presentation
• Guide students to make slide and in preparation
• Conduct seminar individually for all level3 students for a week
• Purpose of seminar is to increase student’s confidence level, communication skill, collaboration, audience interaction
• After successful completion of all seminars top 3 students selection to award a certificate of appreciation
• With college stamp, HOD sign and respective faculty sign
• Video recording of best seminars by marketing person for the promotion of BACU computer science department
• Photo session by marketing person while certificate award to students by Dr. Makki for social media post

1st BACU Quiz Contest in Computer Science Department for level 5
• Subject selection
• Research and preparation of quiz question bank in MCQS form
• Upload this question bank on Moodle for level 5 students
• Teach all question bank in class with explanation before contest
• Ask students 100% attendance compulsory for this contest
• Explain the following format of contest to students
o 3 or 4 members in one team and member selection will be on the spot
o At a time 2 team will play a contest
o Supervision by Mr. Mahmoud
o Host of contest will be Mr. Nadeem
o Time control by Miss. Ryda
o Score board handling by Dr. Santosh
o There will be total 20 questions for this contest
o Question will be in MCQS form, 1 question and 4 possible options
o Question will display one by one in a form of slide
o Question will read by host with option after that contestant time will start
o Contestant will get 40 seconds to answer each question
o Those who know the answer just raise your hand that team will get a chance to answer first
o Mobile, laptop or any belongings strictly prohibited in contest

This is a 2 days’ workshop on HTML and Open Source Technologies PHP and MYSQL. Learn web designing from basic HTML to advance HTML and add functionality to websites using JavaScript, PHP and MYSQL.

Students will essentially learn and do simultaneously. Students will have developed a working personal website by the end of the workshop. This is a hand on workshop of industry standard software in website development.

Social Gatherings and Activities

a) The British Applied College will plan and design a number of cultural and social activities for students all over the academic year. Among these activities some of the notables are listed below:

• Picnics, Desert safaris and other occasions

b) The College will have controlling authority over all the activities and organizations of students.

c) The ideas of Students for an appropriate student activity will be supported and assisted by the College management.

d) To ensure effective utilization of College facilities and buildings and to safeguard the reputation and integrity of the College, no permission will be granted to the student organization to use any of the College amenities without prior approval. For getting approval, students can send their request to the Student Affairs Head by email.

e) Students and their guests are liable to abide by the UAE law. Students or their organization will be responsible to take all the preventive measures.

f) Students behavior should be responsible and respectfully when taking part in any activities and abstain from any violations described in the section of Student Discipline.

g) Besides, any existing disciplinary procedures and penalties will be applied to students violating discipline in the College. Such actions might include expulsion or suspension of students or termination or suspension of a specific club or activity.

h) Any group/ individual violating these rules will be answerable to the College management and will be subject to suitable disciplinary action.
