Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering is a professional field of study that provides knowledge and solutions for various applications involving life-saving equipment, life-enhancing artificial limbs, pacemakers, micro-scale pumps, sensors and actuators, incubators, transportation, space exploration, etc. The core fields of mechanical engineering are divided into manufacturing, design and thermal studies. Mastery in the core fields helps any program graduate design, analyze and manufacture machines including giant earth-moving equipment, massive turbines at power stations, automobiles, rail transport systems, space rockets and satellites, and so on. A mechanical engineer’s needs span different domains, from tiny micro gears for medical equipment to giant industrial robots that assist with assembly processes.

The list of courses and course contents focuses on modern industry needs and produces graduates with personal and intellectual qualities. The curriculum encompasses all the core fields of mechanical engineering, including personality development and sustainability courses. The current laboratory facilities comprise the Fluid Mechanics Lab, Strength of Materials Lab, Heat Transfer Lab, and  Dynamics Lab. The College also has facilities to teach simulation courses that help students better comprehend theory concepts. Course completion will help graduates play a vital role in industry and academia and to become responsible citizens anywhere in the world.
