Join us and do extraordinary things. All students must take the internship. The internship place can be a public or a private organization. Students affairs office is responsible for internships and other forms of experiential learning for the college and it will ensure the following:

  1. Publish an Internship Manual that describes the college policies and procedures related to internships and other experiential learning;
  2. The internship sites are safe and provide suitable work experience to meet out the learning outcomes of the college.
  3. Enter into agreement with industries for internship training defining clearly the responsibilities of the college and the employer or placement site;
  4. Employers or non-institutional supervisors are committed to enable students to meet their learning outcomes by suitable job descriptions and assignments during the internship.
  5. Students who enroll in internships have access to a syllabus for clear guidance as to the expectations for student learning, assignments, evaluation and faculty supervision.
  6. The learning outcomes are informed clearly and in writing.
  7. Provide chance for students to respond, in writing and/or through an oral presentation, on their achievement of the learning outcomes;
  8. Provide an orientation for students as to the skills, behaviours and knowledge which they need to succeed in the work environment;
  9. There is an effective mechanism to match students with potential employers;
  10. There is an effective mechanism for monitoring the employment site and gathering feedback from students and the employer.
  11. There is faculty assigned to offer the internship;
  12. The responsibilities of the academic supervisor, the employer and the student are defined.
  13. The academic credit, if any, to be earned, the placement of the internship in the curriculum, the methods used for evaluating the internship, and grading mechanism are defined.
  14. The internship is regularly evaluated, in terms of both experiences of students and satisfaction of employer, and that the results of these evaluations are used for improving the program.
