Artificial Intelligence

The Artificial Intelligence(AI) program was launched in Academic Year 2019 at the British Applied College, United Arab Emirates. This program is a specialized training program managed by the National Program for Artificial Intelligence in the United Arab Emirates and facilitated by the British Applied College. AI is one of the most popular terms in technology right now, and for good reason. Several inventions and developments that were previously only seen in science fiction have slowly begun to become reality in the last few years. AI, according to experts, is a factor of production with the ability to provide new sources of growth and revolutionizes the way people operate across industries. Students learn how to engage with AI at the end of the program to take advantage of the strategic benefits it provides in making better-informed decisions and increasing efficiency and profitability. Students learn about AI’s revolutionary potential and how to apply it to real-world problems. Students can also use AI technology to design and execute systems and applications.

Why Study Artificial Intelligence BAC?

Research-led Education – Research feeds directly into our teaching, ensuring that the program encompasses the most recent breakthroughs in Computer Science, such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Cyber Security.
Four-Year Programme – Students broaden their knowledge of the limited path and continued the stream established in the foundation year through to the final year.
Flexibility– In the second year, students will be able to adapt their studies to the themes that interest them the most by selecting from a variety of optional courses.
Exceptional Learning Environment – We have a strong sense of community, with the tutor that is personable and nurturing, allowing students to work together in a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.

AI Laboratory

AI applies generic STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) principles to real-world scenarios, putting AI at the core of learning. Students explore Robotics and Drone technology through assorted workshops in the laboratory

Assessment

Each module is evaluated individually, with some elements of ongoing evaluation in each. Some modules are entirely graded on the basis of coursework. End of exams includes written assignments, oral and poster presentations, computer-based assessments, graded exercises, and project reports are all examples of assessment procedures.
