The level 4 Higher National Certificate in Engineering will offer the basis and broad introduction to mechanical engineering through a mandatory core of learning specialist units in each pathway, namely manufacturing, engineering mathematics, design and thermal. Students will gain a wide range of sector knowledge tied to practical skills gained in research, self-study, directed study and workplace activities. This effectively builds underpinning core skills while preparing the student for more intense subject specialization at Level 5. 

Students are eligible to apply after completion of grade 12th of American or CBSE Curriculum or grade 11th/O levels in case of British curriculum with 5 or more GCSEs at grades C and above, Graduates from the General level/Advanced level of UAE public schools under the Ministry of Higher education and level 3 completion mandatory.
